Threadkiller Mk XII

And I am mostly alive. Went to Tygerberg dental clinic to have two teeth pulled by basically a student. Got there at 5:45 was no 9 in the queue. Waited till 7:45 to be seen by a dentist for 2 mins. Then back in a queue for another hour and 30mins, then get called in to numb my mouth and wait 15mins and then they pull it. The girly did ok I on the other hand was in total freak out mode and when she was done I was actually faint. Then in two weeks I go back for an assessment and we decide then what to do. Also in such pain that I took meds when I got home and slept.

What a fun day

Arrrrgg! I was so looking forward to playing Dragon Age Inquisition today. So I start it up and BAM a couple of gigs update required. :(

So there goes that idea.
 
Scratch that, luckily it only had to download a certain percentage and then one can start playing. So I'm off to play that now. Yay!
 
Since I'm having a monologue. It looks like I'm not that lucky. The game starts but it won't load my save games until it finished downloading. Rats!

Lol shame man I am busy playing xcom and epic battle fantasy but the boss is kicking my ass left right and centre. Wanted to play some Company of heroes but I need to update it to gain exp.

So now I am pondering if I should play some sniper.

What did you think of RAGE? I always think about getting it but then deciding against it. It sucks about your work though!

I'm really enjoying it! The world feels alive and is insanely detailed. The gunplay is fun (think Doom 3 or Quake 4) and the racing and minigames are nice departures from the story if you just want to mess around.

The story isn't all that strong though. It mostly consists of "go here, fetch that and kill everything that crosses your path", but it's good enough to keep the momentum of the game up.

If you enjoy your post-apocalyptic wastelands as much as I do, you'll love this game. It's like the unloved child of Fallout 3 and Borderlands. It deserves more attention than it got.

Oh, and I can definitely see the game's influences on the latest Mad Max game and movie.
