I have a 4mb line, if no one is on the internet I stay under 200ping and the game feels smooth with no hitching. I think it will all depend on how much activity happens on your line.
 
I played yesterday online and my ping is 220+ and I still won quite a few matches and had a great time and believe me the bots are good I am playing on pro in season and it is a challange.My first season was 18 wins and 18 losses.
 
Guess I will rather wait for local server.

Please let this happen it will make an amazing game even better.Loadshedding sucks I need to play now lol.
 
I saw a really short GIF of Rocket League the other day (first time I'd heard about it) and it looked like a load of fun. Definitely going to give it a try.
 
I so want to play this game.. I'm really sad that it's not on xbone at the moment.. at least the dev said that it's a maybe and not a definite no. oh well, I'm holding thumbs
 
I also ventured into the online section of Rocket League last night for the first time. To be honest, thought I was going to get my ass handed to me, but think I actually did well. Had a ping of about 180-190 the whole time, and only once felt a bit of lag.
[MENTION=22]Deceptor[/MENTION] - Do you play normal online or ranked?
 
Only played 2 matches online and was also expecting to be owned, we won one and lost one, but both times i was top of scoreboard, it does feel like one of those games where you can have a good game or two then a run of terrible games though.

Really enjoyed it.

I've only played normal so far. I haven't really noticed the lag. The game handles it pretty well.
