Hey ladies n gents

I'm thinking of getting myself these Gunnar glasses. Who all uses them, Do they do their job and are they worth the price?

I've got a pair at home and at work. I used to suffer from eye strain a lot and it caused headaches and fatigue but Gunnars changed it all for me. Now I don't look at a computer screen without one.

Would also love to have a pair, but yeah the prescription issue is a problem for me. My new glasses are anti-glare though which helps with eye strain looking at a PC screen the whole day

I would love to get some, but can't find anywhere to make them as per prescription.

I wear contacts so this wouldn't be a problem for me :) but it seems like they do help so I'll just order a pair when they get stock again :)

Gunnar glasses are on my one day when I can afford them wishlist - aka after all my studies are done. That will be my reward for getting my diploma. For now what I do is during the day I use my screens as is, not that bright tho. And I have added F.Lux to my pc and I use Twillight on my phone and tablet. Basically it changes the colour warmth of your screen according to the daylight cycles, it has made a huge difference for my eyes at night. I also found I sleep better because of it. It takes a while to get used to it because it affects your games, movies, tvshows the works.

@OP, I don't have the one you mentioned, but I have a pair of these.

I use them for reading and work, not so much for gaming. It relieves of strain from reading text and has a small degree of magnification - which is great for reading stuff on phone/tablet screens.
The amber tint, for me, makes gaming colour screwy.

I have 2 pairs... 1 set stays at home for gaming etc. The other set stay in my vehicle, the lenses filter out the blue light beautifully... Makes my life so much easier when patrolling at night...

I'm in the same boat as Solitude. My brain was breaking without them. Now, I can't work on a laptop without them.
