Satellite Reign

There's a GIF for that
I decided to create a new official thread for this, since the old one is old and in the news section where no-one ever discusses anything.

So, the game is now officially in Beta, and they have a release date: 28th of August 2015

We're pleased to announce that Satellite Reign has now reached its content-complete milestone, meaning the entirety of the game is now available to play, from start to finish. From here, our focus is entirely on fixing bugs and improving performance.

For those who don't know, Satellite reign is the spiritual successor to Syndicate Wars.

Cool I like the idea will put it on my wishlist I like the idea of 4 heroes types. I just hope the controls are better than some games when it comes to sqaud base movement and orders.

looks interesting. I don't know why when I was watching that video I was waiting for Sylvester Stallone to pop out shouting "I am the law!"

I want this so bad! How's the game thus far? I see it's content complete, but should I just wait for full release instead?

I'm enjoying it a lot so far, but there are still some annoying bugs. May as well hold out for release date and see what the reviewers think, I reckon.

The game is now officially out, and reviews so far are looking fairly good.

This is cyberpunk! An ugly-beautiful dystopia dripping with atmosphere. Emergent game play and the freedom to play how you want make Satellite Reign not only a worthy successor to Syndicate, but in many ways the superior game.

Satisfyingly freeform missions and rich systems to play with, set in one of the prettiest cyberpunk cities on PC.

Satellite Reign offers a very solid set of mechanics and the four specialists are clearly designed to allow players to approach almost all situations in a variety of ways, able to create big gun battles or to always move without altering anyone to their presence.

Syndicate’s amoral corporate violence meets a more lenient version of Commandos’ ability-centric squad tactics, in this on-point cyberpunk sandbox.

I thought I heard Matt Lees for a minute. Never heard of that channel and I liked the video, so I had a look. So it's Matt Lees and Quintin Smith. Subscribed, and looking forward to their content.

Oh, the game looks good too. :p I liked Syndicate, so I'll probably pick this up sometime.
