Hoxhud. You do need to join the Hoxhud community group on steam then download the latest one here.
You also likely wanna then delete hoxhud mp3 which goes "HOXHUD INITIALISED" in a stupid accent at the start of every mission. that gets old quickly
EDIT: Installation is easy, just copy the stuff into your root payday 2 (found in steamapps/common/payday2) folder, then go to assets and delete hoxhud-initialised.mp3, or edit the HoxHudTweakData.lua file I think...
While you there, if you plan on using any cheats or trying to get free DLC, be sure to change the self.cheater_check_disabled to true (double negative)
heres a screenshot (with labels that arent in game dont worry hehe) that shows what hoxhud adds to UI
It also adds damage indicators above enemies you hit, as well as total hitpoints remaining (useful against the tankier guys)

The DLC VERY often (except the "latest" one at the time) go for 75% off. just wait till then and buy the essentials, thats what I did when I felt the DLC was worth it.

Yeah so true wait till they go on special if you want the dlc some are well worth full price but like all dlc some are not. Got mine mostly from 75-85$% off and some was given to me by friends.
Gage Mod Courier can you do more now with these? I am stuck with over 100+- scopes from the packages.

I only bought the Clover DLC... so far. I will buy the others if I feel the price is worth it; always Steam deals on such DLC -- I'll patiently wait.
As it stands, I have something called a 'backlog', and it gets larger on almost every Steam Sale.
