Only price I've seen is $49.99, which works out to around R630, a chunk more than R499 :(

Still, R630 is still a reasonable price for what you're getting I guess. That said though, will we actually see it in SA at all? Most articles only mention release for "North America and European territories". If it does come here, how much more will it land up costing after taxes, customs fee, import duties, vat, etc., etc.?

[UPDATE: We’ve just received word from local Bethesda distributor, Ster Kinekor Entertainment, that the Fallout Anthology will definitely be available in South Africa at a cost of R499.]
