Umm, it's one of the newer Seagates, correct? So it can't be a firmware issue... Have you tried putting the drive in without the enclosure to see if it works?

That means i think alot right? I think everything though a million times then i revise the decision, file it for a month, look it through another million times then weigh the pro's and con's before decided that ill do it in a week or so. Had bad experiences being impulsive, very bad. /Shudders.
