I know can't seem to get it fixed so using my usb wireless adapter atm for internet connection.

Tried every driver possible and disabling devices and no luck with getting rid of the resource error code 12

Still same error with clean install

No error in vista and everything works fine not sure why it won't work with Windows 8 or 10.

Edit: Finally fixed it, was my built in sd card adapter stopping the wireless and lan from working now I can use windows 10 in peace :D.

I'm still a bit hesitant to go for it. I have a 5 year old Rampage III Extreme board that does not even officially have windows 8 drivers. Searched for almost a week to get drivers from all the chip manufacturers to get everything going. Really don't want things to go horribly tits-up if I upgrade. Has anyone done the upgrade rollback with any success?

I'm thinking of making a disk image before upgrading. What's that latest greatest tool to do this? Last time I imaged a disk I still used Norton Ghost from a Dos boot disk.

I am using windows 7 drivers and the default drivers and it is working fine and my laptop is like 7 years old.

Meh for some arb reason my windows 10, windows button/start button and search bar is unresponsive. No idea why tho

The irony is if I go to the apps folder locations (with some trouble since most of my task bar isnt responding) I can run the .exe and the program loads just fine.

All I know is that I am gonna go insane soon.

if all else fails you can always go back to the prev windows until they sort most of the shit out, nowadays it seems common practice to release something that isn't yet ready for the people.

The odd thing is it was working brilliantly till last night. And then it suddenly just went wonky, for now its just the windows button that I can't click - but I can right click it. The search button is also not working. Everything else seems to be fine

Had exactly the same happen to me yesterday. Restarted a couple of times and it hasn't surfaced again. I also thought I was going insane, because nobody around me was experiencing this. Even tried the Powershell command they recommend online, but nothing besides a restart worked.

No issues, on any of my machines (1x Laptop, 1x Netbook and 1x Gaming desktop). Wyvern that "Unavailable" is referring to the size on disk of the application. You can reinstall if you REALLY have to see the publisher and the size of the application. They will still work.

Windows 10 certainly loads quickly! I don't have an SSD but in terms of startup it feels like I do, up and running in under a minute (probably closer to 30 seconds) compared to Win7 which took a few minutes.
