Battlefield Hardline

Give it a go! its by no means a bad game. but as you said... is it different enough to make it worth playing

I think that is what most hardcore BF players are going to say!

I've played and still own every BF game in existence with a base minimum of 500 Hrs clocked Online per game. Hardline is okay. It's not a Battlefield game though, I personally would have prefered them to have launched it as a separate title. Honestly to me, it feels like a First-Person GTA5 with BF-like objectives.

This. If they called the game Hardline and didn't try and ride on Battlefield's coattails, then I'm sure it would be a lot better. Now though, everyone will compare it to the military-styled Battlefield and how it's so different.

I agree using the Battlefield moniker is really not helping the games perception, but it definitely is helping in terms of brand recognition. It probably wouldn't have been getting the attention it's currently getting if it didn't have 'Battlefield' in the title.

need to play more standard conquest, been playing a lot of hotwire it's fun but a little to crazy, and a little unbalanced. for the guys in the cars, I like you can shoot the helis with regular guns.

I played the Heist game mode this morning, and I have to say that was pretty fun compared to the same old BF Conquest mode

Yeah I also felt the same way about the name, but in the end its just a name and it's whether you like the game play. I have enjoyed Hardline so far. And i'm not sure I would have bothered even trying it out if it didn't the battlefield name linked to it.

I found it pretty solid for a beta version. Also liked the look of the levels. Reckon I will pre-order.

Downloaded and plaid for hour last night.

But damn.

You can see I have not plaid FSP ages.
KD of like 1/15

Hahahah

I'm waiting until it's roughly 6 months old and then I'll see if there's a local community left. No use buying if it's going to be dead like Evolve in a couple of months.

That was my thinking too and agree, doesnt look it will last until the end of the year. Besides Battlefront end of the year, I hope DICE takes a close and serious look at the BF4 buggy launch and Hardline and give us a spectacular BF 5 in 2016.

It's a shame because despite all the hate it received I actually liked the beta. I didn't mind that it didn't make sense to wage military class warfare over bank robberies, it was fun to me anyway. :p

I just hope Battlefront does better locally.

I'll see if it goes on sale in a few months. Otherwise I might take a change over to CoD. Alternatively I have Killing Floor as my online multiplayer alternative.

Yeah, I really enjoyed the Beta. But sadly almost none of my friends got it, so I didn't bother.

Currently on sale for 50% off at Origin. I wonder what the local servers are like? I would buy it if I knew that people were at least playing it.
