Well. That was thoroughly disappointing.

Entered my key, downloaded the beta. Launched Beta.

Hover over "Campaign" icon in menus.

"You must pre-order Legacy of the Void to play the prologue missions"

WTF. This is why I pre-ordered :(

You're lucky, I can't even log in to the game at all.
 
Slightly off topic did everyone get the overwatch tab in their bnet launcher or just me?

I got it too.

Also, I contacted Blizzard support about the fact that I didn't get access to the campaign with my pre-order. I had to send them my beta code and my pre-order receipt showing payment, but they said that they did upgrade my account. I haven't checked yet, but it looks promising.

I expect them to adopt a similar model to Heroes of the Storm.
 
An update: I got home to check that I could access the prologue, but no, obviously the support guy just thought I didn't know how to download the beta client and told me that the beta was added to my account without checking to see if I actually had campaign access.

I logged another support query and he told me that there seems to be some technical glitch and that I should wait a few days for it to be sorted out. He also said that he would find out from Tech support what is causing the issue. So I guess I just have to wait and see :P.

Have you had any luck yet [MENTION=17]MetalSoup[/MENTION]?

i had access to beta before getting the key. but could not click on campaign. now i can play the 3 prologue missions. ( haven't yet have been bit busy )

That's not good to hear. It seems that the codes Raru is handing out are beta-only codes, not pre-order codes. I'll let you know if Blizzard support sort the issue out for me.

An update on my no-pre-order-code-from-Raru-saga: I contacted Blizzard support explaining the situation clearly. They investigated and sent me a new code that unlocked the prologue. I'd suggest you do the same Eugene.
