Grim Wolves

Is FFXIV:ARR still popular?

Also is it possible to make a merchant/crafters guild?

I'm going to start playing it next week and i want to focus on the crafting classes/jobs,how much variety is there in gear per lvl?

Yes. All servers are currently busier than a one-legged man in a hacky sack competition. In my opinion, it is the best expansion I have ever played in 15 years of online gaming! There is just so much to do, not only for those whose focus is raiding and progress, but also for those who enjoy stories, or mini games, or TCGs, or levelling non-combat crafting classes, or farming/commerce, etc. With the release of the expansion, you basically get handed 99% of the gear you need to level/do dungeons. You only really need to start worrying about set pieces much later on in the game when you start raiding. Feel free to look us up on Phoenix EU. The server usually shows as "full" in the evenings, but becomes available for character creation each morning again. Add me, Yoshemaru Sukoshi when you get started! :)

I'd just like to mention that it's not that easy to rank up a Free Company, especially since there are already so many in existence and new members are hard to recruit. After having to move servers, we had to level ours all over again to Rank 8, and we finally have all of the buffs (which give members bonuses to crafting, gathering, durability, food, combat, experience, etc.) It would probably just be better to join an existing FC like ours that already has all of that stuff.

Cool,if everything goes to plan then i should be able to play tonight or tomorrow afternoon.

BTW,since it's monthly subscription. You don't have to pay extra for any addition characters right?
Also i'm thinking of getting Heavensward,do you also get a months worth of sub with it?

I'm having some trouble,it seems i can't pay using paypal.

Will have to give it a pass if i can't pay with paypal.

That sucks HawkerZA :(

I installed Skyforge, must say I am liking it so far.

Well i bought a game card for 60 days (R400) from the square enix store using paypal, unfortunately it gave me an NA code instead of the EU code (it didn't give me the option to choose). So now i'm stuck, worst day ever.

Contacted customer support and hoping for the best.

Just wondering if you were logged into the NA lodestone instead of EU. Either way, that's swak. Sorry man. Hope you come right.

Edit,it seems you can play on any server (even EU ones with an NA account)

Now i just need to figure out how to change my account to an NA one.

Customer support has been awesome and gave me a refund.

Purchased a EU code and added it to my account, game is now updating (wish i could update it before getting game time)

We're on Phoenix if you're interested. If the server is closed, it usually opens again the next morning. :)

Thanks, download should be done tomorrow at around 3pm at current speed.I've been reading up jobs,i'm thinking of going with Conjurer and then White Mage at lvl30.

How's it going HawkerZA? Did you manage to create a character on Phoenix? It's currently open as of this morning btw.

WildStar: Reloaded includes BIG changes to core game systems; a new character creation and intro experience; improvements to dungeons, itemization, tradeskills, world bosses and group content; a class stat revamp; new quality of life features, bonus events, the Cosmic Rewards program, and so much more. Best of all (and despite the repeated objections of the Protostar Corporation) it’ll all be totally FREE!

If you’re on the fence, or a former player thinking about returning, here are a few reasons why you should give WildStar Reloaded a shot, and why you should consider joining <Grim Wolves> in <Venus Rising> on Jabbit EU.
