Joost Joiners - but they are not cheap - but their work is stunning.

That I can do Soli, that is actually a good deal.

Also, I'm not going to design one for you so there may actually be another cost involved.
Browse at http://themeforest.net/category/wordpress and look for a theme that you'd like. Or you can google for free themes. There are actually awesome free themes out there. Specifically WordPress themes. It'll just be the easiest to set up and let you manage everything yourself. :)

My mom wants to have cupboards built into my room - its makeover, if you will. Her and my plans for the renovation are quite different. Through a friend's vision, stacking and shelving would be cheaper, but she insists on having cupboards built in.

I wanted to buy table to use as a work desk, given that the draw on which my components sit does not make for comfortable gaming, especially long periods of time. Her idea is to have the cupboards and buy a bed that has a desk built in; not the biggest fan of a top bunk sleeper. Never liked being on the top bunk (re-worded for fear of sexual innuendo).

Eww, wordpress!

I've heard a lot of good things about wix.com. You might want to look into that as well. If you're ok with a 'wix' ad on your page, its even free.

SquareSpace actually looks pretty cool if you are prepared to pay the monthly fee.

I will maybe make the move over to them once I actually make money - I swear the first order I get - I will scream! For now the cheapest option will be better and there are some stunning free wordpress themes.

Wix is also a good option.

And there's nothing wrong with WordPress. A large part of the web uses it. :)

My one site started out as a WordPress site: http://hostingweb.co.za

Though these days it runs on my custom blog engine but I still use the WordPress theme that I used in the beginning.

We use wix for work, as much as I like them, they don't have the look or feel that I want, plus its a nightmare to setup and configure the way you want.

Maybe even look at or experiment with Joomla as well.

I run joomla for our intranet. Works well, lots of plugins available. I suggested wix for its simplicity, but if you don't like it, that's more than fair.

I almost miss working with the old CMS' that I used to work with back in the day. $100,000+ per license. I wonder if any of those old sites I worked on are still running...

no man i quite like wix. Wix is extremely customisable.

I actually have to agree with them Wyvern . I've never used Wix but it's ideal for what you want to do. WordPress comes with it's own difficulty in setting everything up.
