Because I'm on a calorie cut for the next few months... I never would have gotten in this position if I hadn't tried perfecting my fried chicken recipe and waffle recipe every other day...

So I now have to start from scratch on my waffle recipe since I'm using whey protein powder and such... I've done a few flapjack recipes so far, so I think I know what to do... The only time I tried protein waffles, they kind of... dissolved in the waffle iron when I tried to take them out.

Wahaha laughed so lekker now!!! Wish I had the choice of Waffles when i was cutting calories for the shows!! =D

Afternoon all

What a freaking busy day. Atleast I'm home now and it is weekend. It is so damn cold though, glad I haven't put away the gas heater yet. Will probably be firing it up this weekend :)

Use your flapjack mix as a waffle mix - we have found that the waffles then are crunchier and have a better taste :D

Ya, as long as the consistency is right, it will work either way.

What part was funny? Just curious. I'm cutting to get rid of this flab I've been carrying for years, I'm not doing any competitions. Here's my recipe:

ingredient/kjoules/carbs/fat/protein/fiber/iron
protein waffles.JPG

The app had the information for 100g serving as a 750g serving of rye flower, which is why I crossed it out in red, and I also didn't log the 1/4 tsp baking soda and 1/4 tsp baking powder I used.
With the greek yogurt, I mixed in some stevia and cinnamon and made a topping.

Ahh Protein Waffles. That makes a bit more sense!
I used to eat Supashapes Protein pancakes like a monster.
I would say the best thing to get rid of that flab would be to get your macro nutrients in order first along with your calories. Especially if you are just doing it for yourself there are much easier ways of doing it, like limiting/avoiding carbs after 3pm and so on. Would be willing to help you if you don't have someone helping/guiding you :)

Thanks. I'm actually doing very well. Spent a lot of time researching things myself. I'm counting everything in myfitnesspal, got my customized macros set, and doing SL5x5. Lost 20kg since May already. I seem to have it down pat. Losing about 1kg a week, any more than that I'm gonna lose muscle and get loose skin.

Appreciate the offer though. If I have any questions I'll let ya know :)
