I got home last night from a very boozy night and started playing, did the tutorial and now i can't remember a thing

I found out last night, thanks to [MENTION=13506]Reavs[/MENTION] (I think it was, or [MENTION=11515]chan0o[/MENTION] ?) that I could set my control scheme to use "alternate", but under further analysis all this does is switch O with R1.

It only switches those two buttons, still, I think R1 is a better fit for fire than doge/evade

I've spend quite a bit of time doing all the objectives in Jeets territories over the weekend and had a blast doing it. Just a pity all the strongholds have the same projects.

Got the PC version as well yesterday since it was cheap (R270) and I want to use this to see if I should get Just Cause 3 on PC. If this works fine it's safe to assume so will JC3. Was finished downloading this morning but I didn't have time to test it out.

yeah I got 100% for Jeets last night. just a couple of scavenging spots that I can't get to yet.

Only one thing that is a little bit annoying but nothing major; you can't fast travel other cars

Cool, will have a look. I have noticed a disparity between reviewers and gamers for Mad Max. A lot of reviews state the game as mediocre, while user reviews say the game is amazing and look good overall. The Steam user reviews are at 95% I think.

I wonder why this is.

I think they criticize it a lot due the fact it may become repetitive, there's also very little gunplay and weapons, a lot is brawling. Driving around in the wasteland is "dull", you have no music like most open world games, but visually it's stunning. Sometimes I just go exploring and finding a view point and staring.... I'm really loving this.

While you're doing quests it's a lot of fun, but right now I have to grind to upgrade my knuckles and jacket before I can progress and it's really boring. You can only take out so many convoys or so many outposts before they start getting repetitive.

Strange then that user scores don't reflect this. Perhaps they haven't played enough yet and will change their minds once they get more hours in. I'm just glad I didn't buy it (yet), because Witcher 3 is taking so much of my time. I can't play 2 open world games at the same time

I've played just over 32 hours on PS4 and I've enjoyed every second of it. Yeah, there are some gameplay annoyances and some things are repetetive (which game isn't?) but none of that bothers me too much. Most importantly, the game is a TON of fun to play. Definitely the most fun I've had with a game this year. If the PC version works fine on my PC, I will most likely put even more hours into the game on PC as well as finish it on PS4.

Run about 10 times through the whole place looking everywhere just to discover the Scrotus insignia is right above the entrance.

yeah I've had to hit youtube a couple of times when I got stuck. but I'm even ok with that. Just want them to fix the fast travel thing. it'll make disarming minefields a lot easier.
