So, probably nothing has changed my decision and my pre-order stands. I am fully on the hype train and will have a blast with the game the moment it comes out. Gonna sign up for the beta as well.

So the beta will be on from the 8th to the 12th of October. I think I'll try it, sort of my final judgement whether I'll get it, but atm, I'm very sure I wont be getting it.

Sweet, I was wondering about that. The beta is 7gb, so it'd be nice to have an extra day to download.

Not at all. On a scale of 1-10 for excitement, it's sitting at "meh" for me currently. I'll wait and see how it pans out first before giving it a go.

BF4 was too much of a letdown for me - all hype and a full hour of enjoyment for me. Luckily I got a copy for free, would've never spent money on it.

I'm tentatively excited. I've held off on pre-ordering until I try out the beta. I'm hoping for a Halo for PC type game. In regards to pace and combat.

No idea, only thing I could quickly find was for the PS4, says to go to the PlayStation Store.

Been digging around the internet now, seems console owners will only be able to get the beta on 8 October. Will set my alarm then to start the download.

As far as I can see, Battlefront won't even be on Steam. The only way to get the beta on PC is via Origin.
