Is my PS4 faulty?

FNB doesnt have stock. But I did email their Gurus, so waiting for a reply..

I would imagine that FNB had some stock to sell, but if you return it, they would send it in to someone else for assessment and repair/replacement. Possibly Partserve. Those people would hopefully have parts or a few consoles for in case any need swapping out.

Shit dude, that is a shit one of note!

I'm so paranoid about my PS4, even if it makes a noise while in Standby I pray to the gaming gods that it's not broken in anyway :p

In my case I can't actually remember when last I switched it off completely. I just put it in standby when I go to bed and during the day. I do switch it off and unplug it when a storm is overhead though.

So after sending FNB an email, i was contacted by some support guru, as to my expectation, he did not know jackshit and possibly did not even read the email I sent, so i explained it all.. Asked if I updated to latest software and even asked to check if there's new firmware out.

He then said he will communicate with the suppliers and contact me back again this week..

The BLOD issue is all over google and the "device guru" isn't even aware of it.

Hey
I wanted to use this thread for a question, So recently I went away for 2 weeks and when I came back I saw drops on my PS4, I was a bit concerned and cleaned it. The next day It started raining and I came into my room to find that the roof was leaking onto my PS4 and it got full of water :(. Fortunately it still works fine by the looks of things except for the fact that the controller doesn't work in games, however I found out how to fix it, the only problem is I have to do it everytime i go into a game. Anyway do you guys think it's worth buying a new controller? Thanks.

What did you do to fix it?

It's always good having a second controller. Get another one, keep that one as a backup or for second player.
