I really really REALLY don't understand the concept behind smurf accounts. And its starting to piss me off, because everyone seems to think its the norm. Constantly being told I have a smurf account...its almost insulting. No... I'm not going to buy an entire other copy of the game on a totally different steam account just to be able to play against you retards, get over yourself.

Oh i ranked up 2 nights later.. You can't keep a good man down! :p but yeah.. i play so ridiculously inconsistent.. One game I'll totally destroy the opposing team and carry my team hard while the next i wouldn't hit water if i fell out of a boat.:rolleyes:

It is pathetic. They should not make the game so cheap. Or get another way to regulate it. Not sure how though. Very difficult to regulate peoples accounts :/

"community competitive" are the DGL games that I usually play, or practice on our own server. play MM just for fun. and Pickups every now again when the systems are not down =D

I believe that was part of the reason behind the whole "reach rank 3 before you can do MM" inclusion. As well as only 2 wins a day up to 10 wins. Its all to deter people from making smurfs as its becoming more and more effort to get started.

Yeah i think that was their intentions, but still not stopping them
 
I see the new case dropped and it's called shadow case.

What do you guys think of the new skins? I actually like the a1-s skin but i'm not so sure on the new knife(s)

Been playing a bit of GO. First time ever playing CS online as I would give it a bash at a LAN with a few buddies every now and then. I was quite into Battlefield 2 a few years back and couldn't find anything as fun or strategic enough since it died off. CS seems to be something I can enjoy quite a bit.
Haven't reached level 3 yet so I can't play comp, but boy am I looking forward to it.

I would say keep DM'ing and perhaps try some casual (if you dare) to get to rank 3 quicker but personally i think casual is like cancer and i can't stand it. I managed to DM my way to rank 3.. didn't take that long "whistling:

I can't stand casual. Too many kids shouting LOL and dudes saying how high they are.

The casual servers are getting more quiet. The AIM servers etc aren't as full. Matchmaking still seems pretty active. I've given up on worrying about rank now though. Got up to DMG, lost it in 2 games :/ Now I'm stuck at MGE again.

I'm always surprised how many people are playing at odd hours of the night :p Weekends I'll sometimes do a late night and I'll stay up till like 4am playing and we never have to wait long for a game.
 
community servers are very quiet, but queuing up via "find a game" never takes me more than 1 min for either deathmatch, arms race or casual. I'm still a bit scared to solo queue competitive so I can't comment on how long that takes.

finding casual, DM or arms race takes about 10 seconds of searching.. a competitive game can take anywhere from 10 - 130 seconds
