Riding mammoths and fighting saber-toothed tigers: Far Cry Primal

Now this is a really interesting setting to put a Far Cry game in. I remember Ubisoft doing a survey a while ago asking people which setting would they like to see a Far Cry game be based on. Glad to see they they are going for pre-historic. There aren't too many of those type of games.
 
I wonder if there will be dinosaurs? Or just prehistoric mammals?

Is it to much to ask for Capcom to give us another Dino Crysis?
 
this is what worries me, far cry games normally have 3 things animals , weapons and vehicles.
Far cry also has been more of a realistic type of shooter. So with Primal the animals will be period animals sabre tooth and mammoths but no dinosaurs, but they can also do crazy big bear-sloths and other animals I am happy with.

Weapons will be knives, bow and arrow, spears and slings, maybe shields and the sort. Not your typical Far Cry weapons, blowing up beautiful scenery is what Far Cry does well.

Vehicles in Far Cry are a major part of traversing the huge world of far cry. We may see horses or mammoths and such but that been done in MSG,Red Dead, Skyrim , Ark Survival (and Ark u get modern weapons too) and other games.

Anyway I am a little wary of this new Far Cry game, but hay it could end up beening the new Turok we all really want.

At least there is Just Cause 3 in the wings if I need to blow stuff up. Have you seen how pretty the destruction is in that game?
