Case?

Kabous, I've had my eye on the Lanboy from prophecy for a long time. It was very cheap for an alluminium case @ +-R800.

NOOOO stay away stay away its build qwaulity is swak. the front panel is cheapy plastic also looks ugly The case feels flimsy when you pick it up without the strap. But its light thats for sure.

Hmmm. thanks for the heads up mate. I've only ever seen it on pics etc. Good to know that there was a catch.

Are you sure you're MB is properly spaced from the tray it is sitting on? No way the case should have that kinda effect on your PC, unless your front panel leads are faulty or broken.

I've seen the problem before but managed to fix it up.

Anyway, I am able to get some very good prices on a wide range of Raidmax gaming cases. PM me your email address and I can send on some pics to you (just so you have some other items to compare to before you decide to buy).

I like the Raidmax Smildon(spelling). Not bad lookin case ;)
But I love my TT atmo, otherwise i would def be sticking with CM instead

That's the one I was referring to...

Buy a Coolermaster Scout or Sniper, you can pick them up in the Prophecy classifieds for around R800 best cases for their price...

I had the thermaltake armor supertower

I upgraded to this last week:

Coolermaster HAF922. Got the case for R999 and it's brilliant. 3x 200mm fans and 1x 140mm fan. Brilliant design on the HDD slots as they are rubber at the side so you just bend them over your hdd and it clips, and slides into place. PSU sits at the bottom and all your cables are routed behind your motherboard tray, makes for a much neater and cooling efficient case. I love it.

You Bastid thats the same case i want for my next pc build. Its such an awesome case. I like that the PSU is in the bottom instead of the top like in Stock cases.

Yeah dude its really worth it hey I love the case. Worth every cent, eventhough it was 2.5 times cheaper than my Armor!!!!! Much better case.

It is a great case, a friend of mine recently got one, although it may not fit into Caboose's price range.

The Coolermaster CM690 Stacker is really awesome, and you have the optional windowed sidepanel if you like that kind of stuff. Also got the PSU at the bottom.
And it's only 800 bucks.
