I didnt think it would effect your CPU, but thinking about now, needs to work harder.

Also wonder how it will effect your line speeds, does that mean, roughly, that you will use double the bandwidth on a 60hz server seeing as its double the updates from a normal server?

Battlefield 4 Community Operations​


Early this year, we revealed the Community Map Project, an initiative where we built a Battlefield 4 map alongside the community, from concept to release. We’ve shared updates throughout the process, taken your feedback, tallied up your votes, and worked with you to make the map that you wanted us to make. And today, we’re happy to formally reveal Battlefield 4 Community Operations, a free* DLC pack coming for all Battlefield 4 players in Fall 2015.

Battlefield 4Community Operations is separate from the upcoming Fall Update – this pack includes Operation Outbreak, the map created hand-in-hand with the community. Enter the dense jungle to battle for supremacy in a valley with a medical research facility, an ancient temple, and a lush waterfall. The valley is infantry-focused with limited access, making the use of agile vehicles (such as RHIB’s on the river, quad bikes for fast transportation, and light attack vehicles) critical for success.

We’re looking forward to talking more about Battlefield 4 Community Operations and Operation Outbreak in the coming weeks. Are you ready to draw first blood in the jungle?

I played a few rounds of BF4 for the first time in ages. Had to re-download the game to get it working.

The last round I played was great fun, I rode as gunner in the chopper of an awe-inspiring pilot. Tangerinemarine I think his name was. That guy just did not go down (except for one tiny mistake where he clipped a building which was pretty funny). I wish I could fly like that guy did.
 
I donnu....some ppl. I posted a video from xfactorgaming earlier, and he goes on about how exact the map is to the BF3 version...but its not, see levelcaps vid. Its still a map in development, so it might change.

Also, looks like we should get that new community map, Operation Outbreak, end of this month.

DICE has confirmed that the upcoming Battlefield 4 Fall update is in certification with Microsoft and Sony and should be released by the end of October.

The Fall update includes the brand new jungle map, called Operation Outbreak (check out some videos of the map here).
The certification process ensures that the patch works properly and doesn’t break the game or mess with console hardware. Usually it takes a coupe of weeks for a patch to be certified by Sony and Microsoft.

In addition to the Operation outbreak map, the Fall update will include a bunch of bug fixes and tweaks — in fact, according to DICE’s David Sirland, the Fall update includes 28 pages of patch notes. That’s one big patch.

Hey guys. Haven't played bf4 in months now. Wanted to play today and it says I should download an expansion pack, I'm premium btw.
Can anyone tell me what this is for?

I'm guessing it's for the new Community map that's been released: Operation Outbreak
 
Well one thing you should check is your game up to date. If it is then you will eed to add the xp's to your registry if it doesnt reflect. The whol Xpack0 to Xpack5 or something cant remember. If you need help just shout and ill give you the full rundown

Might also be the Night Operations DLC. Think I had to search for it in the origin store and add it to my account before I could play.
 
What the lazy [MENTION=7799]AlienTaker[/MENTION] :p is refering to, is this:

  • Log out and fully exit Origin
  • Open your Registry Editor - Type in regedit on the Start Menu Search field and press Enter
  • Navigate through HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node > EA Games > Battlefield 4
  • Check if there is a folder named Xpack1 under Battlefield 4
  • If YES -> Click on Xpack1, on the right pane check if there is a string named Installed, the Value data should be True
  • If NO - right-click on Battlefield 4 > New > Key
    - a new folder will be created, name it Xpack1
    - right-click on Xpack1 > New > String Value > name it Installed
    - on the right-pane, double-click on Installed, set Value Data to True
  • Exit Registry Editor
  • Log in to Origin and Join China Rising Maps

That issue gave me a some trouble, even if I had the xp installed, it wouldnt "find" it.

Other than that, do a repair and the night Operations map is something that you need to get from the store, its free, but you go through the whole thing as if you are buying it. It wont download automatically iirc.
