CS:GO official discussion thread

DreamHack was awesome. Kept me on the edge of my seat and clicking my mouse that wasnt in my hand.

Do we have any local community servers? Like AWP only, Pistol only or knife only? I tried searching n only come up with internationals.

Yes we do. 8 Frag has loads of fun server. Retake only, aim and many others

That EnvyUs vs G2 Esports on inferno was so frikking hardcore. Sad G2 couldn't clinch it in the end, I like supporting the underdogs.

Also glad Fnatic didnt make it through, not a fan :p


EDIT: its also the 3rd major i watched on twitch and csgo concurrently, without ever getting any drop :(

Yeah, I was also routing for G2!!

I got 1 Drop, opened it. and Received a stupid Souvenir Shotgun

I got caught up in the fad of the last one (Katowice?), and bought the cheapest crate, and opened it...also got a shotgun :p worth about 30c

Yeah, I just sell crap now hehe

Oh, also made DMG this week. matches are starting to seem easier, its weird. Its really easier to do well (top 2 in team) when you have good teammates.

Dunno if that means I'm good or crap, but I seem to be able to carry well when team can pull their own, than when teammates suck :p

Congrats Mottamort, Those hacks seem to really working for you :p When I eventually find the strength to pull myself away from ARMA 3 I'll join you.. if your not eagle by then :rolleyes::cool:

Yeah its been frikking quiet lately, find myself soloqueuing again alot of the time...fortunately around this level I seem to get lucky, solo queuing lower down the ranks is definitely a no-no :p

What I'm trying to say is, I'm always happy to play with someone, please come back :)

This will not just be another map, like the maps that come in for the Operations. This will be an official Competitive map for the World Competitive scene. So will be a map just like Dust_2, Mirage, Inferno, Train and those maps

i miss nuke

EDIT: also my point I was trying to make was omething you just alluded to as well. Here in SA the guys play those 3 maps dominantly. Train, cache, overpass, cobblestone and others rarely ever get played, whether it be casual or comps. So when I said it would get fiddled with for a while I meant after it would just be as obscure here as those other official maps are :p

Hehehe! You just confirmed my point there :) Nuke is not, and has not been in the Competitive map pool for a quite some time. The Map pool get renewed/shuffled every few years. So the maps that are in the pool CURRENTLY get played lots. Nuke was played soooo much when it was in the Competitive map pool. Same with Season.
 
So who else is loving the R8? So many people get salty when you use it but i love being able to challenge an AWPer with a pistol.
