My keyboard is set to arrive today and now it's on special as a daily deal at Takealot. Second time that I've ordered something and then a couple of days later it's a daily deal.![]()

Congrats! I'm sure you'll love it. Iove mine to bits!lol I didn't buy from them though. I bought it from Rebeltech. So it's probably just coincidence.
The keyboard arrived though and I look forward to trying it out this evening!![]()

It looks great! I'm still getting used to it and just typing this is taking quite a lot longer than usual. The keys feel great though! And I still have to set my colours.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Can you give us a picture/image of the palm rest? Because not all palm rests are equal. A lot of keyboard have palm rests but perhaps you need/prefer a certain size of palm rest?
I have the Logitech G710+, it has a decent sized palm rest and I find it nice for typing, although the keys stand out a bit higher than my previous keyboard, so that took some getting used to. It has Brown switches, which are tactile (have feedback) but non-clicky, so while they aren't as loud as the Blue switches, they are louder than non mechanical keyboards.
For a "casual" gamer I might say there is little benefit of a mechanical keyboard over a non-mech, however I do like the tactile feedback.

I also miss the macro keys at work sometimes, as I can code a string of commands and then just spam the macro key.
I have G710 Blue. Same keyboard but with blue switches. Blues are awesome for home use.
