Ideal fictional world choice

So i was discussing which fictional world i would like to live in, minus all the drama. It can be any world from games to books to anime... but i would like to know your reason for choosing it and what kind of player/character you would like to be.

Mine would be sword art online, simply because i could live my normal life but be able to make friends from around the world and have the experience of being bad ass in the virtual world, plus it would be awesome if my hands wouldn't get tired from pressing buttons:D Id be an ordinary character modeled on myself, preferably with a ranged weapon and a daggers for close combat:D

Funnily enough Sword Art Online popped into my mind first - mainly because you would be able to fly in the VR program

I'd be either a ranger or engineer in Tyria, because that's what I played in Guild Wars 2. The landscapes were huge, vast and beautiful and some of those villages seemed really peaceful and friendly.

Warcraft was the first thing that popped into my head (maybe because I just watched a Warcraft video) :D
But also I love the Warcraft universe; the diversity and history, the environments. I would probably be a priest :)

Deus Ex popped into my head second. I love the whole idea of augmentation and the way it can benefit/help people, but of course you get people using that tech for bad things (unfortunately). I would love to be the engineer that helps to develop this technology and to improve it :p

Bleach and be a total pervert haha :p

But yeah also though about sword art online but then the Bastion world or or even warhammer 40 000 as a space marine.

Interesting choice on bleach:D. What weapon would a pervert use:D as well as a space marine?

I'd pick the Star Trek universe. Maybe around the time of TNG? Most sicknesses are a thing of the past. You've got the Holodeck which makes it possible to experience just about anything.

the first fictional world that came to mind for me was The Elder Scrolls world. Especially the province of Skyrim. I think I would make a pretty good Nord, and every time I play that game, I just live myself a little bit too much into the game.

So you would prefer to live in the old times?

I think the fact the the Elders Scroll universe is so rich and vast with lore and stuff to do, that I found myself living out a virtual life; my wondering Wood Elf Lorrain found a sexy Orc, Ghorbash the Iron Hand, fell in love, got married in front of the Altar of Mara, and our lives were spent hunting the local wildlife around Whiterun, selling the pelts for money. Our life was peaceful. Then some bearded dudes called me dovahkiin or something and wanted me "to learn the way of the voice". What the hell does that even mean. So I had to leave Ghorbash for a little while, and I set forth on a journey that took me all across the realm. It was lonely without my lover, but I met some really interesting people along the way.....

...o_O......

Sorry, I got carried away there for a while. Yeah, I think Skyrim really got me sucked into it's world, and I would want to live there in a heart beat.

It would be awesome i just think i would be too lazy to actually go hunt my own food ... That and i find most of the Skyrim men rather hideous...

Lol just a joke on the pervert but yeah My weapon would be an battleaxe and warhammer. Space marine uses these awesome sounding bolter guns, but don't shy away from melee weapons with chainswords.

Lol got me to thinking why has nobody said someting like in the futuristic world of deus ex? That would be rather intresting being all cyborg type of person.

Perhaps the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. All I know about its location is that it is located somewhere in Scotland. To Muggles (that is, non-magical folks like us), it'll appear to be a dilapidated old ruin of a building, but to the magically-inclined (read: wizards and witches) it is a majestic castle surrounded by sprawling lush green grounds. According to me, school cannot ever be more fun than what Hogwarts has been depicted to be in the Harry Potter books and I would love to experience it!

Oh man that would be awesome! I'd love the exploring! Or fighting to get back with Janeway from the Delta Quadrant...I'd chat up B'Elanna Torres! (Dont judge me... :o )

Another setting I quite like, although the complete opposite, is The Elder Scrolls....

Common theme between the two, I love exploring and adventure.
