Would you go back to school...

If given the chance would you go back to school? - go to class, write tests and exams and meet up with all you old mates, not to mention being able to go home at around 2 or 3 in the afternoon.

So, would you?

Question: Would that mean I'd be 23 in school? :p

Regardless, nope. I miss being younger and knowing that my parents are always there for me. As I grew older that happy façade began to wither and eventually died. I realised my parents aren't immortal, that they won't (can't) always be there and that life will occasionally give you the middle finger to remind you who's in charge :)

I'm happy with the way life is, and once in a while I'll feel nostalgic, but to go back to exactly that would mean I'd lose everything I have in my life now and everything I've learnt. I won't give that up for anything, except possibly being able to rewrite things the way I'd want them to be while still hanging onto all my experiences :p

Imagine this: Uber Ly-Ly Necromancer! Ruler of the world! It'd be an awesome world ^.^

I dont need to meet up with them since i have most of them on fbook, even the ones i dont like

jeesh talk about a morose :(

I would say yes without a doubt but I have a fantastic wife and awesome kids. So nah, not for me.

HELL YES!

With a heartbeat :D u just cant beat 2pm home time :D and playing games all day, counterstrike during computer lessons where u hide the taskbar and if he comes around alt+tab :D sorted

Perfect answer Caboose :) I loved being at school because as you mention, ending the day at 2:45pm is awesome. Other reasons include: School was easy, I got to see my friends everyday, and I had WAY more time to LAN and play games! As a child you greatly misinterpret school, thinking it's Hell you're going to in the morning... Quite the opposite when you grow up and realise :D

Not for all the money in the universe. I like being an adult and getting to make decisions for myself. I get to buy what ever i want granted i have money, in school you have to rely on you parents to give you money. Also i hated the whole social hierarchy in hight school so would never go back.

9-5 is a price im willing to pay in order to have the stuff i want and not having to eat up all the teachers kak and what not. NO, No, NO.

I wouldn't go back either, but I would consider rewriting my matric exams and actually studying this time around. :p I always wanted to go study chemical engineering but then I failed maths because I was to busy partying to be bothered with schoolwork. Now that I'm all grown up I regret that.

No, I wouldn't. I much prefer working long hours to studying a few hours and goofing around. I am glad to be done with school and wouldn't go back. I might continue my education part time though, to complete what I have left of my BSc, but I don't think thats what you are referring to.
