Shadow Complex appears to be getting a remastered port to the PC if a Pan European Game Information, or PEGI, rating is any indication.

According to the PEGI site, Shadow Complex Remastered is suitable for “persons aged 16 and over only” because it contains “realistic looking violence”. The only version rated at this time is a PC version so it is not clear if an Xbox One version of the game is forthcoming. A release date of December 2, 2015 is shown on the site, but that could pertain to the date of the listing.

You might recall Shadow Complex originally being released on Xbox Live Arcade for Xbox 360 back in 2009. Check out our review to see why we loved it so much it’s still included on our list of top 25 Xbox 360 games.

Back in 2011, developer Chair Entertainment and Epic Games revealed they thought about doing a sequel to Shadow Complex, but changed their minds in order to focus on growing interest in mobile gaming. They instead developed and released Infinity Blade on iOS.

Incidentally, Shadow Complex is one of five backwards compatible Xbox 360 games you should play (out of over 100) on Xbox One.

That would be great, I loved that game. :D

Yeah its awesome. But honestly would prefer Shadow Complex 2. Played so many hours of the original that I doubt I will get the remastered version. But will wait for screen shots to see how much of a remaster it is.
