Hey all, not sure if you all noticed Albion Online yet.. It's currently in the last phase of Closed Beta which started this week and will be running for +- 3 Months before the final wipe for release.

Albion Online is a Cross Platform game and will be playable from IOS, Android, PC and MAC.

What is Albion Online?

Albion Online (AO) is a medieval fantasy MMORPG being developed by Sandbox Interactive, a studio based in Berlin, Germany. Players can currently purchase "Founder's Packs" which grant access to the closed beta play-tests which have been run intermittently by Sandbox Interactive, typically after an interval of a few months of development.


There is currently 3 Founder Pack options, each one will give you something extra with Closed Beta access and Premium benefits you can test and have fun as of right now.

Legendary Founder's Pack: $99
Epic Founder's Pack: $50
Veteran Founder's Pack: $30

Albion has been on my watchlist since it's announcement, however, those Founder's Pack prices are a bit steep for me at this moment. Perhaps I'll reconsider after we've audited our year-end finances. :)

I would say the game is more PvP than PvE as you need to later go to the higher Tier area's and it's PvP enabled where someone can easily kill you while you do a open world dungeon or when you try and farm mats etc..

The first Tiers 1-4 is all Green zone's no PvP is flagged, as you get to the Yellow / Red zones that's where the curse words begin :)
 
There are a bunch of us considering trying this out. Is anyone still playing the beta at the moment? Thoughts and impressions?
