Sorry for being MIA guys - I suspect I will be for another few days. Minor surgery done for now. Still very woosy after the sedation, its taking me a silly long time to type this post. But am forcing myself to stay awake for a little bit.

Just heard we will probably have to work through December. Client is launching new products in January and we have to get everything done so they can start testing in the new year.

Most of my team already have leave plans (including myself), so best case scenario is me working through VPN from Cape Town. Worst case scenario is me forfeiting plane ticket and hotel accommodation and sending my wife and her mom off while I stay here and work.

That sucks FarligOpptreden. :( Last year we also had to get stuff ready for a client over December so we worked like crazy maniacs and had it ready just before Christmas. Luckily we didn't have to work between Christmas and New Year. I hope you get your time away. I don't know about you but I live for the weekends and the holidays. They take that away from me and I'll go somewhere else. It's all we have.

Sadly "they" is me at the moment. If I don't have clients, I can't pay salaries and my staff will quit. Seeing as this particular client provides 80% of my income, I have to bend over and take it all in order to keep them happy.

Seeing as I can't force my staff to work, I'm counting on volunteers to help out beside me. Luckily 2 guys already indicated that they'll be staying and can help.

Morning people of the TK

Stuck at work this morning, just till the other staff get back from their meetings. I also need to find a painkiller that helps the pain in my jaw/muscles as well as my cheek - it feels like my cheek is black and blue. Ironically where they did the extractions isnt so sore, just irritated by the stitches

will that be cheapish and over the counter? They currently have me on mybulin - but that for some reason is knocking me flat on my ass but it doesnt help the bruised feeling.

Suncodin is like R12-R22 for 20 and the Diclofenac is about R15 for 20 and over the counter ja

Mybulen/Myprodol is the preferred ones to use though. See if you can get IbuCod or GenPayne
