I run less than that and the only stutter I get is when I jump between systems
 
'scuse my ignorance, but what is the point of Orbit Lines?

I see people play with them on, but I don't know why. To me they are a deterrent and just look ugly.
 
I think the shortcut key for them is CTRL + H, or that could just be to disable the hud. Which reminds me, guys you can disable the hud if you want to take nice cockpit screenshots without a hud!

Here are all the debug key shortcuts for Elite that I know of:

L-Ctrl+L-Alt+G to remove a lot of the GUI is nice for that.
ALT + F10 lets you take extremely high resolution screen shots.
F10 take ordinary screen shots
CTRL + F = shows you frames per second.
CTRL + B=bandwith

yeah I need to remap a few things on the controller
keep putting my ship in silent running mode by accident. but can never get the button combo when I actually want to switch it on

Wait till 2.0 is released as there's a lot of new settings being added. Including settings for disabling certain GUI features and stuff like that. I don't want to spoil it, so just wait.

need to set a quicker way to target subsystems as well. think I'll need to incorporate my keyboard more
 
I'm going to try and get my Frontier downloaded Elite Dangerous to pick up through Steam so I don't have to redownload everything. Haven't played the game in quite a while, think I stopped playing before the Wings update even :3
