Collect Steam trading cards easily with Idle Master

Hmm... you make a valid argument.

Brings me to another point, is there a config or someway to exclude certain games I wonder?

There is a way to blacklist games you idle yes, but it MIGHT require you to know their SteamID and then pop it into a txt file...not sure, never done it. The newer Version has option to blacklist CURRENT game (last option under Game tab)

EDIT: seems newer one lets you blacklist from within idle-master. File->Blacklist (still need SteamID of game)

Geez, I started using Steam Idler yesterday around this time, and I'm very nearly R100 up!

Guess it's based on the games you own. My library is full of free/giveaway games. Started running it last night till this morning and the 5 cards I've got sell for like R0.20 - R0.40. I'm up to a whopping R1.84.

I see you can get foil cards?
How are these obtained and what's the point?

Any card you get has a chance to be foil. You can craft foil badges with them like you craft normal badges from normal cards. Foils also sell for more (obviously).

So anyone gotten a foil card yet?

I got my first foil card ever from idling Dirt 3 - currently got it listed at R4,30 but the foils seem to take longer to shift.

I got my first foil card during the Steam sale now. Sold it for around R4.

Yeah I've had a few foil cards in the past. They can sell for a bit more but they often just stay in the market forever.

I'm lucky, and get a lot of foil cards. Probably around 20 in total. I won Valkyria Chronicles last month and got 3 foil drops, made R60. Thanks Solitude :p

I get the most foils with all the free shitty games that get given away. I usually average 1 foil card per 2 free shitty games.

Your Steam level also influences how many foils you get. The higher you are, the greater the chance.

I've farmed about 100 cards so far. Only 1 of those was a foil card, which doesn't want to sell at the moment.

Well thanx to my card collection I made R196.79 and Bought Dungeons 2, LEGO® Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game, DG2: Defense Grid 2

Thanx to the people who farm badges.

I managed to make R177 (and counting) with the thanks of idle master. Trying to decide between getting Ori and the Blind Forest or use it to knock off some of the price of the Witcher 3. Really want to play both games but I'm not sure if I'll have the free time to sink in the hours W3 deserves.

Had to decide on that one as well. Decided I will get Witcher 3 on the next sale, hopefully at 75% off. Picked off 3 other games in my wishlist that was marked 75% off instead.

Just finished farming all my trading cards. Though I only got 2 foil drops from 570 cards :(.

Foils are that bit more valuable but much much harder to sell. I've got a R15 foil sitting in the market and its been there for a couple of weeks as the cheapest card and no sale...

Yeah I've noticed the foil cards don't sell so fast. Actually it seems like the marketplace has been quieter than usual since the start of the year.
