Thanks for the apologies and feedback ya'll (including everyone that participated in the initial discussion).
Just a quick note that I haven't forgotten about my promise to post about this in more depth. I just had second thoughts about posting something in the announcements thread during the silly season when the issue has turned out to be very controversial.
So I figured it might be best to wait until the new year.
I'm also busy looking after MyBroadband while the rest of the team are taking a break, so I may not be able to participate as much as I may want in the conversation that might ensue if we do this right now.
Anywho... hope everyone's had a great Christmas and are looking forward to a New Year celebration that doesn't suck.

Tempted to buy either starcraft 2 complete (60 USD) or diable 3 w/ expansion (26 USD)...
Thinking Diablo 3 w/ expansion and wait for SC on special....but itching for some RTS.

Diablo 3 was $10 the other week. and well starcraft was also $10 each(excludes legacy of the void). so perhaps wait a bit.

How often does Blizzard do sales? I seem to recall seeing one at random at least once.
Probably getting both eventually - just not that excited about the 60 USD price tag.

Don't let it's indie development fool you, it should have a AAA price for the game it is. It has more character than some AAA titles.

Grim Dawn is the way to go if you want an ARPG. What diablo 3 should have been like. The gameplay itself might not be as polished as Diablo, but when you take into consideration that it was basically 8 to 12 people who made Grim Dawn the quality of the game is very impressive. So much depth in terms of character customisation. Diablo can keep its rainbows and ponies, you'll find none of that in GD, only a truly grim world with some lovecraftian (is that a word?) influences.

Its not that I don't believe you guys - just want to get the AAAs out the way first.
Also...stupid battlenet shop is 25% more expensive on UK region.
Bought a key for SC WL...dodgy as fck...jury is still out whether this russian key will be in russian lang.
Edit...seems OK. Thats actually not bad then - 190 zar. Blizzard wanted 430 for it

No worries man, just make sure you keep on an eye on GD if you have an interest in APRG's. If I hadn't already bought 3 gift copies for people (2 for members of this forum) this sale I would have bought you a copy as well, but I have no more disposable income to buy games with at the moment. Maybe next sale, if you still don't have it by then...

Yeah got lots of unplayed stuff on steam - so justifying anything but AAA is currently hard.oO - forgot bliz lets you start playing before the download is down. Nice.
