Good news everyone

I am now officially a professor. I have been accepted into the Pokemon professor programme as a trading card game judge. Now I want to apply for a credit card just so I can tick the box for Professor.

Professor Ike, Assassin of Accountants

Okay that sounds super badass. Now you are almost ready to take over the world

So I have had an Xbox One and PS4 both in 1 month. And wow the Xbox One is just one awesome machine! Not yet a PC though, but it really is great! The PS4 just felt..... meh. Not sure why and can't explain it

Well, the main question is in which direction do you want to go? Even though these do seem similar by category, they all lead to different opportunities and different career paths. Which would you prefer most?

well I see now they have fixed course schedules. 1 feb - 24 feb and 29 feb - 23 mar

So I'm thinking I can pull off two. Digital marketing in the first session, which is kinda in my line of work and I have already done a social media marketing course. And then mobile app dev in the second session, just for shits and giggles. Maybe a make a life changing app and then become a millionaire. I already have some ideas... :D

so looking at upgrading my brain again but can't decide with what

I'm looking at:
INTRODUCTION TO WEB DEVELOPMENT (more of a refresher course really)
FOUNDATIONS OF MOBILE APP DEVELOPMENT
DIPLOMA IN DIGITAL MARKETING

thoughts?

I agree with Hammer, they are very different, so best to decide what direction you want to take and study that.

Even if you want to do mobile app development, you'd probably need to decide if you prefer Apple or Android, because that would study either Objective-C or Java

the mobile dev is for android :)

Just a warning regarding Android development is that you can't sell apps from South Africa on the Play store. Except it they changed it but a couple of months ago South Africa was still excluded.

I recently followed this course on udemy to see if android development is for me, might be worth checking out. I did it over the course of a Saturday morning, in between other things, and it's very clear.
Sweet! will have a look

Java then, maybe have a go at some tutorials at http://developer.android.com/training/index.html and see if you like it

The IDE is available free at http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
ag if it turns out I don't like it I'm not too phased, it's only R19 :D
