TV Series discussion [NO SPOILERS]

Watched all of Jessica Jones, i enjoyed it, but it wasn't as exiting as Daredevil. I think they should have mixed up the format a little, the entire series is just about Jessica Jones vs. Kilgrave . I hoped there would be some side detective missions (that is unrelated to Kilgrave) to change the pacing a bit, but alas.

The ending is also not quite as satisfying as i've hoped, i get the feeling they also focused alot on setting up the other characters/series aka "The Defenders" (Luke Cage,Daredevil,Iron Fist, Jessica Jones). It felt alot more like a "mini-series" than a tv series.

Just watched the first 10 minutes of Into the Badlands. It looks like something I can get into! Graphic and violent fight scenes, sprinkled with a bit of cheese :)
 
Really enjoyed the first 4 episodes of the Shannara Chronicles. It is pretty much Hunger games meets lord of the rings. The visuals are fantastic. It does stray a lot from the books so just keep that in mind. You have Gimli as the elven king and Deathstroke as the wise powerful druid.

Been following it a while so as soon as I saw the first 4 episodes were available I grabbed it.
 
Had the same problem with expanse. I was missing a common thread that tied the different groups together in the first 2 episodes. So kinda gave up on it.
 
The first 4 episodes are basically an intro to the series. That's why they released all 4 at the same time online. Everything starts coming together with Ep4 - CQB.

It's not everyone's cup of tea though.

I will give it a try again when I want to binge watch something on a weekend.

Was finally able to obtain the Sherlock special...can't wait till my lady and I watch it. The Sherlock withdrawal is hitting us hard :(
