I'm working mostly with the webMethods product suite (based on Java) so I get a lot of Java exceptions when I work in the generated source, all of which translate to "Something went wrong. Hope you know what it is because we sure as hell don't."

I did indeed. It started off as a pet project of mine to build a particle generator. I ended up with a nice drawable canvas where I could draw random particles and give them a lifespan. So it ended up looking like sparks emitting from the mouse cursor, with lava-like canyons being drawn on the screen. I extracted the necessary bits from that to create the light-shafts effect and it's been used in our CI ever since. Feel free to grab the JS file attached to the site and play around with it.

Most of the stuff I do is a combination of CSS3 animations and transitions and canvas animations.

Thanks man. I did notice that you seem to have a liking for CSS3 transitions and animations.

Let's see if I have this straight: Whisky is Scottish and Whiskey is Irish. Right?

Since I'm from the Free State, it doesn't matter. Once you mix it with Oros, it all tastes the same.

My wife and I went to my parents last year for a braai and they were drinking Johnny Walker Green with Sprite Zero. They got the bottle as a gift and didn't know that it's so expensive.

Haha Johnny Walker is one of my favourites! A cheaper whisky that I quite enjoy is Three Ships Whiskey.

Southern Comfort isn't whiskey is it? It is nice with a bit of Lime though
