Well, the doctor booked me off on forced leave for a couple of days (weeks even?). So inbetween remotely helping my team I've been captivated by The Witcher 3. I'm around 20 hours in and it really is very very good.

Still deep in a blops3 addiction can't wait for the new maps they should rename the game to Call of Combine.
I just played grow home and what a awesome game, once you get used to the movement and climbing mechanics it really is a unique experience.

left my comfort zone again this year. scored Xcom: Enemy Unknown and Enemy within along with all dlc's in a humble bundle

bought on a whim when I saw the vids for Xcom 2 and now I am loving it.

never really been one for turn based games due to them being rather boring imo, but to be honest they fixed that issue in xcom for me.

stressing my ass off when my troops nearly get nailed and you pull of a win is very cool

I've been fighting in the new Arena mode trying to work my way up the ranks. Are you playing the beta branch?

I don't know anything a beta branch. I've been doing the Arena mode as well though, got a few characters up to adept, and then managed to get the main one killed, so it was game over. Quite a few hours wasted. What's in the beta branch? It looks like you need a code to unlock it.

Ah if that's the case then you are in the beta branch (opted in to the beta in the Steam game properties) I had been playing the "standard version" and noticed the update notices about the new arena mode which I didn't seem to have but when I opted in to the beta it updated with the new stuff. It's quite tough but fun!

Decided to throw some Talos Principle into the mix. Between that and Cities Skylines I've got some therapeutic gaming on my hands. Who knew gaming could actually be RELAXING and not all about murder, zombies, aliens, explosions and rush rush rush!

Finished the main story of Mad Max, it was okay-ish. Can't be bothered with the rest of the game, it's boring as hell.
