What up and coming game are you excited about?

Okay, so I have been following the development of this game fore quite some time. And it looks great!
I love the cartoon like graphics and design. I know the primitive Survival has become quite an over explored genre, but not for me. I am very selective when it comes to survival games. I just keep getting more excite every time they release a new Video or Screen shot.

What lesser known games are you excited for?
 
This is one of my most anticipated games that is under the radar or "lesser known", though not actually sure what's happning with it as it was slated for release end of 2015. Now I also know they wanted to tie in with the release of VR (Oculus) but now not sure what's happening.

Never heard of it before. Will definitely give it a look. I have not played a space exploration game in a very very very long time. Can't even remember the last one i played

Really give it a look and learn some more about it. Very intriguing stuff, I can't remember a "demo" or press video that has made me full of suspense and I was left holding my breath and gasping for air while watching that. I'm really looking forward to it.

The trouble I anticipate with this game is doing that thing you do when a character in a movie holds their breath.. I'm going to pass out so much, I'll need to rig up a fighter pilot style breathing mask!

hehehe... and that to me is a sign of good gameplay or immersion. I love it when a game developer or movie director is able to portray this across in their media.

This actually looks really cool! haven't seen it before, i see its developed by Facepunch studios (Garrys mod / Rust), looks promising! a bit hard to find info on it though, havent been able to watch the trailer yet.


Now moving on, really looking forward to The Universim, it's basically what Spore should have been, except for the creature creation etc.

It's a God game where you take a civilization from the stone age to the space age and colonize other planets etc.

Very true! I follow them on their Facebook mostly.
So it is almost like Spore+Black and White?
 
Some interesting games here so far. I see The Universim is listed on Steam Early Access, but marked as "Coming Soon". There is however a Demo available that's sitting at a 72% Mostly Positive rating at the moment.

Edit: Scratch that bit about the demo. It's not a gameplay demo, it is a technical demo showing off the procedural generation. Not interactivity or gameplay in it.

Keen on Adr1ft too. Launch was delayed from end of last year, but the dev tweet release date earlier this year (https://twitter.com/adam_orth/status/684800474172624896) and PCG confirmed in an post a day or two later that it will release on Steam and Oculus Rift on 28 March. ("Later in 2016 for PS4 and XB1")
