The only CMS systems I would recommend are : WordPress, Joomla!, Drupal, Wolf and PHP-Fusion

Incidentally all LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) stack based.

There are others, but some are heavily Java dependent (resource hogs and slow), or require PostgreSQL (configuration nightmare) or Oracle (expensive) DBs to run. Then you also have the ASP.NET based ones (BetterCMS and Kooboo) which wants a MS OS, MS SQL and IIS.

WordPress has some of the best SEO plugins available in my opinion.

I can recommend a hosting provider if you want. PM me for details, they host our marketing sites. Which are all WordPress based.

I've some experience with Joomla. WordPress seems more refined though. Most my experience with CMS' were enterprise level and ran in the $10,000's per license range, but that was 10 years ago.
