Gamma Nine - My debut novel - Cover concept and info.

Out of interest, will the Amazon release be the same price as the Kobo release?
R47.10 is a very reasonable price for a book

You'll probably have to end up creating a Q&A thread of some sort, because I'm sure people will have questions after they have read the book so then you can summarize the questions that have been asked with answers.

Q1: Why did you kill of Jan in the first 10 pages? I loved him!
A1: 'Cause

Q2: Why is the book called Gamma Nine?
A2: The Gamma radiation in Sector3 went up to Nine on the Richter Scale.

Q3: What happens to Wyvern after she got ejected from the ship?
A3: Wait for the next book.

Good idea. Have not even crossed my mind. I will make one or link to the website with something like it. Thank you for the great suggestion.

Yup I think I will keep the price as is. I don't think upping the price after release would be a good thing, and it looks greedy.

I'm sure you could ask more if it's selling well. Under R50 for a book is pretty cheap. But I suppose you're aiming to develop a reader base at the moment.

Exactly. The first series will be like this, or maybe all of them. It really does not matter to me how much they sell for, it matters more that everyone who wants it can afford it and read my novel.
 
I'll get it for my kindle when available :)

Storyline seems to have some original angles and I am always looking for new scifi to read.
 
read the intro on first post and sounds awesome! i'm still a fan of paper books though, so hopefully it sells like crazy and goes to physical print. Well done dude!

Very nice. I hope you will enjoy mine. Hyperion is such a fantastic name, it is the name of one of the Cruisers in my novel as well.
 
To everyone interested. The manuscript is 99% done and will be going to the distributor on Monday where it will be checked for formatting before it is published.

I have taken some extra time during this month and will be announcing an Amazon Kindle pre-order as well. The manuscript editing went much faster than expected so I have some free time to set up the Amazon distribution.

I will create a new topic with all of the info the week before release.
