What movie did you last watch thread.

Watched 2 movies this weekend,

Pay the Ghost - Actually not a bad "horror" film, the build up to the ending was fantastic, and seriously gets you going, but then it sort of falls flat in the ending...

Fantastic Four (2015) - This is really as bad as everyone makes it out to be... If not worse... I was hopeful... Dont be hopeful...

I enjoyed Hitman. But that's no surprise. Not perfect, maybe 3/5. It's like the director couldn't decide if he's the good guy or the bad guy. Poor cliches all round. But the fight scenes and action sequences were surprisingly good.

watched Sisters and creed this weekend.
Creed was surprisingly good and sisters was well funny at parts but these types of movies arent as funny as they used to be. either that or im losing my sense of humour

With the Oscars just around the corner, it's time for my yearly Oscar movie marathon. Each year I watch all the movies nominated for Best Picture, so that I have my own opinion on them once the winners are revealed.

For those not aware, the following movies are nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award:

The Big Short
Bridge of Spies
Brooklyn
Mad Max: Fury Road
The Martian
The Revenant
Room
Spotlight

To date I've only watched Mad Max, so I have a lot of movie viewing to go.

I really enjoyed Creed! Did you know they making a bunch of them? I think its 3 movies so far... Hopefully it doesn't get to Rocky 7...
no clue hey, i hope they at least keep to the standard of this first one and dont end up like rocky 7 lol

Not sure if you have watched South Paw, but if you enjoyed Creed, its a MUST watch, really fantastic movie... Also about Boxing, but quite different...

Watched it yesterday, and I gotta say I enjoyed it. I like how it was done, and it felt alot more true to the series than the first one did. very cool action sequences and I liked him as the "bad" guy

WAT!!! That was a terrible movie and I have seen all Mad Max films.

Luckily taste differs, as Mad Max has been one of the highest rated movies of 2015. I would also ranked it super high. It was for me most definitely the best movie of 2015, and that's saying much, seeing as Star Wars came out as well.

Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, pleasantly surprised....good movie...although, it might be influenced by Rebecca Ferguson...she is perfection...her eyes...she is just stunning.

errr...where was eye, just a nice action movie with some comic relieve here and there. Of course with the MI special tricks twist. The last two movies of Tom Cruise I've seen (MI and Edge of Tomorrow) were really great.

The Martian, great movie, having read the book, I think they missed a nice scene or two, but overall, great looking movie.

Coherence This movie was made on an extremely low budget and shot in the director or producers home, they used like 3 rooms only, but damned intriguing. Excellent story that makes you think and wonder the whole more through.

I have had this urge the last year or so to watch older movies, stuff that I missed.

Strange Days - Nice movie, great acting and interesting plot line. Angela Bassett kicks ass, Tom Sizemore looks realy weird with long hair, Juliette Lewis is a very underrated actress, I think she deserves more big roles.

eXistenZ - lol @ Jude Law, he looks uncomfortable in the whole movie. Also, interesting story, looks and plays unlike movies do today.

I agree with agent47, I have tried to watch the movie, several times and I just cant force my self to watch longer than 10 minutes. Then again, I have never liked the Mad Max movies....but as mrhammer says, taste differ.

Cabin Fever (2016 Remake)

Basically a shot-for-shot remake of the original, with slightly more violence. Think someone going in fresh would enjoy it (if you like this sort of genre), but I still think the original was better.

hateful 8.... man it was long winded, i never fall a sleep during movies but i did with this one

Deadpool, was just freaking awesome!

the revenant - if leo doesnt get an oscar then im going to say F*** the oscars, I mean he gutted a horse FFS and climbed into it.

Ride along 2 - i like kevin hart but he goes overboard alot of times. not all the jokes and scenes landed with me
