I wrote a thing - Mumford and Sons at the Voortrekker Monument

Hi there, MyGamers!

I got permission from Jan to post this. My brother recently started a blog looking at music (with an emphasis on local music), movies, television shows, and live events. It might expand to other things as well. He missed out on Mumford and Sons, so he asked me to write a review. I did, and it's live at The Flow.

Do go have a read, and feel free to give me your harshest criticisms; I'm a large, semi-muscular man, I can take it.

Your review is fantastic, I wasn't there but from what you wrote I got a really good sense of how the show went. I felt you got the level of detail spot on! Hope to see more from you :)

uh I thought you're a chick.

//not sure if messing with me or not

harshest criticisms
Pics are too small. Its >66% of the screen is just white bar on left & right. Get him to fix the layout. You want a bar on each side but not that much. Not going to comment on content...not my area

Thanks, dude.

Nope, I've got a beard to prove it. There's a AvatarS on MyBB, who is a lady, who I get confused with.. The layout is 100% nothing to do with me, as it's.. not my area. But I'll point my brother to your comment, thanks!

Avatar More important though: have you gotten around to listening to my prog list? :p

I'm sitting in bed next to the wife who's sleeping off her night shift, trying to get enough motivation to go find headphones.. It'll happen soon. Ish. I think. :p

Mumford and Sons suck...how's that?

That's a) not criticism, but rather an opinion. Also trolling. :p
b) a brave, brave stance, bro. I've never heard anyone dislike something subjective.
c) Irrelevant. I've enjoyed live shows of act where I can't listen to the album, and worshiped the album where the live act was boring. And that's okay.

How's that?

I got free tickets to go to the same venue with my wife and 11 year old niece to watch Carley Ray Jepson.

How's that?

I answered a question, how is that trolling?

Great Article! Im a big fan of Mumford, sorry i missed the concert... The article was a great read, but more importantly, WOW:wtf: What an epic site! Your brother has done a great job there! He should really be proud of it! Its great to see someone pushing SA Music, would be amazing if he could get a section for "smaller" live bands that play around the country... The big shows are great, but its also great to go watch some live music at a chilled place, just a thought ;)
