Wireless connections 100 times faster than Wi-Fi: Li-Fi

That is impressive. I will obviously hold off for a good while. Usually the public drive the demand for faster speeds from home and devices. So you got 802.11g for instance back in the day - speed, but bad range when not line of sight. It became so flooded that a lot of bigger industries stuck with 802.11b - better range, less prone to interference although slower at 11Mbps

Even years back working on high sites, most WiFi equipment were on 5Ghz (Less interference and more channels) but bandwidth was already congested. When moving to the 7Ghz range even light rain can become a headache.

Now that we are moving to Thz, it would be interesting to see how well it does for point-to-point networks in the field. I do understand that it is moving away from radio wave to light and is more dense. Exciting times we live in indeed.
