The American Ambassador to SA, Patrick Gaspard, responding to comments by Gwede Mantashe, claiming that the US is plotting regime change to remove that ANC from power.
Mantashe: We're aware of meetings taking place at US embassy, they're about nothing else but regime change.
Ambassador Gaspard: I knew there was something suspicious about that tin can with the string attached in my last mtg. So sophisticated.
