Have you picked up any strange habits from your line of work?

Habits that you picked up from work and now apply at home or in your social life (just not at work, obviously).

I'm an Engineer and always have to find a way to make something more efficient; like to make a 1 minute job take only 10 seconds, even if it takes me half an hour to figure out how to do that. Certain traffic lights will also annoy me because I will immediately see how they can be made much better to help traffic flow.

The other thing is correcting things that are wrong. Grammar, math, a fact/statement, the way something is set up, etc.

There are probably more but I don't even notice them.

As a filmer/editor I am constantly analysing shot angles, transitions, colour use and lighting not to mention sound design while watching things from adds on TV to Videogame cutscenes.

Its really annoying most the time but has lead me to believe that there are very little "bad" movies from a technical stand point.
