Meh. Could be a decent flick. I'm of the belief that while nostalgia is great and all (especially for movies that were great and still hold up), I think it can also shackle expectations and perceptions of things that could turn out good even if they don't give us what we expect.

Yeah, I agree, fully, but the acting, nothing against the women...it almost feels kinda too slapstick. I like slapstick, but imho, not in a Ghostbusters movie.

lol, damn man, want me to draw a picture?! :D :p Nah, I mean, I hope they dont over do the slapstick, like kinda turn it into a Mel Brooks movie. (Also, note, I love almost all Mel Brooks movies, but Ghostbusters is different) meh, struggling to put into words..... :confused:

I understand what you are trying to say... I am also g...glad you mention it. I think we would like to keep the coolness of our childhood memories of the Ghostbusters alive and are pretty scared that this might ruin it - give it a bad name, make Ghostbusters uncool and look like...eh...eh...whimps - sorry had to say it. Perhaps they even were before. But Ghostbusters was cool you know?
