Unotelly blocked by Netflix

I am using UnoTelly to watch Netflix content for other countries. Last night I was blocked by Netflix - it clearly states that it it is detecting that I am using a proxy or un-blocker and that I should remove it.

It is not device or platform specific or to do with updates. I have 3 computers at home: Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10 respectively. I have got a Fire TV stick and 2 Xbox's. It does not matter which platform I use - I get the same message. It does not help redirecting DNS or getting a different public IP or using a different DNS from UnoTelly.

This leads me to believe that it is blocked at Netflix account level.

Anyone else have this problem? The way they might have caught on to me: One of the devices (My Smart TV) did not use UnoTelly's DNS and I have logged onto Netflix and watched The Originals for South African content.

I was thinking of creating a new Netflix account to test my theory.

I am open to suggestions and would like to hear from users facing the same predicament.

Do you really think Hulu is better than Netflix Talentloos ?

Yes and no. Yes because you can watch current series as they are coming out internationally and no because sometimes they only have the latest season of something. For instance i wanted to start watching castle, but the only had season 8. But i spend most of my time in hulu and only really use netflix for the binge watching of older stuff. And hulu has an ad free subscription now, so that is also awesome.

Hulu is better in anycase

I cancelled my Hulu subscription last year due to not watching it at all. The shows we watched typically only had the latest 4-5 episodes, not even the whole season. We prefer watching one show until it's done, instead of watching bits and pieces of multiple shows.

I haven't checked today yet, but it was still working fine last night around 22:00. I have also been following the numerous threads on MyBB regarding this and it seems like it will be back to torrenting if Netflix decides to screw us over. I investigated Showmax, but it didn't have nearly enough content to compare against US Netflix, let alone anything we're actually interested in watching.

Yeah - pretty much what I thought. So many will go back to torrents now. Showmax, even if it was cool, falls under Multichoice. I am not keen for that reason alone.

I did receive a response from UnoTelly and will try what they have suggested.

Sharing is caring, so care to share?

Well, they basically e-mailed me and said that I should do to the Dynamo settings and set Region Picker to US Test 2 or US Test 3 for the US region. This is also the link: https://www2.unotelly.com/dynamo

They also have a huge disclaimer now saying that UnoTelly is for the sole purpose of privacy protection and should not be used for any other purpose. Also that they do not guarantee access to specific sites.

Bah, I'm getting those errors too. Sometimes restarting the router and refreshing Unotelly fixes it, other items not

No issues with unblockus and Netflix/Hulu so far. I hate Hulu though, bad enough that it has ads but it also asks you to choose which ad you wanna see. I know I can pay extra to take ads away, but screw that noise.
