The Division Thread

I'm gonna try start a new character tonight, for the purpose of using him/her exclusively for DZ. I'm actually have a wonderful time in there, so much so that I'm worried about loosing level with my current character. Will also be interested to see if you can go straight to DZ from landing in Manhattan, think you become level 4 then.

Does anyone know if the stash box is shared between characters?
 
Yep stash and appearance items are shared between characters.

Now that I think about it, its weird that I've not seen many female player characters in the game.

Probably due to not being able to make them hot asian bimbos. Saw quite a bit of complaining about this in the sub-reddit during the beta. Complaint that the asian characters look too generic etc

The game keeps on crashing on my wife's PC :(

I updated her GPU drivers to 362.00 (I first tried the latest drivers but then rolled back).

She is running Win 8.1 64bit and her specs are above the minimum specs.
I5 3570K
GTX 670
8GB RAM

We did get "Display driver stopped working" two out of the three crashes and she says that Sniper Elite 3 also crashed a lot when she played it.

Any ideas? I'm still planning on installing the GTX970 in her PC, just afraid we might sit with the same issue. It is also a pretty fresh windows install.

This doesn't sound specific to The Division.

Have you rather got a system restore pint to roll back to rather than previous drivers, something could still reside there.

Yeah you're right. I was typing the post because it happened in The Division, then my wife told me about Sniper Elite 3 also doing it. I should have moved the post to another thread then but it slipped my mind.

I don't know, I'll have to have a look. Otherwise I'll just reinstall Windows and also put her on Win10.

We wanted to play together last evening for the first time, and then this happened. It was so frustrating. I also struggled to move the install from my PC to her PC and then get Uplay to pick up the game.

* The emotes were the only keys that were unbound by default. I set mine to Number Pad 1 - 6.

DZ is only available after level 10 I think.

yeah, was thinking about it this morning. Would also be fruitless as you need to do missions and sort in order to rank up to unlock all your perks and shit. So that's kinda wonky :confused: but I'll probably still create another character which I won't care about loosing DZ rank for.
 
Interesting fact: you can take your jacket off and just wear a harness and shirt:

and yes my character is a retired school teacher that has been activated ;-P. She was one of the first trained in the program.

LOL! Mine is a former yakuza member who realised the mistakes he made in his previous gang life and now tries to correct his past by helping others.
 
I think they need a way you can tag players with notes or something. I had 6 items in the dark zone, was literally holding F down to extract and someone kills me. Now I wasn't pissed off or anything, it goes with being in the dark zone and kind of the point. But when i get back, I see all my items are now lying on the ground, and the guy who took them from me had been killed. I pick up my items and proceed to call the heli again. And then hear, "Grievous, we have your back". I would love to be able to tag them with "owe them" or something, just in case I come across them again.
