Hehe, you mean as chaotic as every other MMO out there? That is exactly how something like WoW works.

Had some good and bad times in the DZ yesterday. Lost my first purple drop to backstabbing rogue bastard, but then then had some good fun with friends in the zone last night and got a bunch of decent gear. Also killed my first rogue and got 32 credits for it. :p

Yeah, you will lose stuff from time to time. Either getting killed by rogues or even just dying in a difficult zone and people looting your body.

I had an experience where a group of geared rogues were camping the entry into the DZ.. Stick your head out. Dead. That's not fun. Didn't seem like the rest of the server were too keen to take them out, so they'd ambush people one by one.
 
I had a shot at the DZ the other night, I didn't come across any other actual players that I could see, but I took out lots of NPC's. The only problem is I couldn't manage to extract without dying, and the chopper would be gone by the time I got back. I think the DZ is a bad place to go alone.

I'm alone a lot of the time. I actually like it like that.

The only problem with solo is dealing with the ADS along with the Elites or Named enemies. Just have to get use to bait techniques and constantly backing up to allow for the rushers. Also, if you die, respawn at the closest gate. This will allow you to still get a chance to pick up you loot again. Another nice thing is, once the chopper has been called, not even a death cancels this, so you still have a chance to get there to extract even if you died/respawned.

Ya, I was respawning and running back to the extraction zone, but I was always just too late to catch the chopper before it left again, so I'd have to pick up my loot and try all over again. I got killed a few times while I was trying to attach my loot to the rope as well.

I'll give it another go and see if I have any better luck. Might have just been too many of the buggers in the area
 
Guys me and my friend started playing this game on PC. LOVE IT! Its so fun and we have been smashing dz. My nick is Jabulaniboii on uplay if anybody want to add me. I am looking for some random parties for dz etc :D shot see you in game
 
Damn Telkom exhange going down as soon as I wanted to load into The division this morning... This was now the perfect weekend to spend all my time in the Dark Zone!
