I have now entered the gear grind, bleh. This part I hate most about MMOs.

Got a yellow surprise drop, assault rifle called Cadaceus from running the General Assembly mission. That was nice.

I think you're guaranteed a yellow/gold upon completing the game or story missions.

It looks like there is a small chance of a yellow dropping when doing General Assembly on hard.

Lucky me!

Apparently, this is the baseline before running challenge mode:

DPS: 80K+ DPS / 60k+ Health / 15k+ Skill Power
Healer: 55K+ DPS / 70k+ Health / 25k+ Skill Power
Tank: 65K+ DPS / 85k+ Health / 20k+ Skill Power

I play a healer mostly and the 70k+ health while maintaining 25k skill power is hard! Not quite sure how to go about it though. Plus, the talents on my yellow AR requires high gun skill to work. Its a damned juggling act!

Anyone able to confirm if all collectibles are available from the beginning? Restarted with a new agent with the plan to clear everything in each district before moving onto the next. Do all side missions and encounters, then the main missions, all while collecting Intel, phones, echoes, etc. then want to find the remaining collectibles, but I keep coming up short. In the 3 districts I've worked on, I'm probably missing half of the collectibles. Am I wasting my time looking to finish and find everything in Penn Plaza for example? Should I be coming back later to see if the other stuff appears later in game, or is it all there already, and I'm just not looking properly?

Probably just not looking properly. If you wanna do that, first thing you need to get is that perk that shows you all intel in the region once all side missions have been completed. Canine Unite is the unlock I think, part of the Security Wing.

In a few cases some areas/collectibles only open up once the main story is done and in others they are part of multi-part quest. Your best bet is if you cannot get to one, check it on google.

BeoTeK Shrike thanks guys, that gives me a couple of things to work on - would never have known about the Canine Unit, or that some will only be unlocked at the end of the main story. Think I'll collect what I can and come back after the main story to find the odd few left overs.

Thought you might find it interesting, and I've also started a second character.

Ok had another go at the Dz. Did much better this time. Hung around with a couple of players who weren't trying to kill me, and I got through a good few extractions.

I did get killed by a few rogues, killed a few rogues as well, and accidentally went rogue one time when someone got in the way of a grenade.
