The Division Thread

The words: tactical, technical, I love those. It supposes a certain amount of thought while playing the game. It is how I like to play games.

It's unfortunate that it all goes the meta and DPS route, which will kinda mean you won't be doing much PvP (because you'll get rekt) but it does make PvE a lot more interesting and enjoyable.

I would love to. A buddy of mine in the UK absolutely loves sniping and he is amazing at it. This meta also has no place for snipers.

Actually as it currently stands sniper is always used as a secondary, just without big scopes because they don't actually provide any real benefit. Shotguns while great during leveling become absolutely useless for the high end content, so right now a typical loadout is SMG/Sniper or Assault Rifle/Sniper.

This is the unfortunate consequence of the way the current high end content is designed. Hopefully the raids will bring a need for more varied roles.

If the meta gets too bad there is always lower level dark zones that we can just live in. There should not be a strong meta at lower levels and you don't level up in the DZ. Unfortunately there is only so much to do in the DZ.

Managed to get my skill power to 45k, health to 60k, DPS to 60k. I am now a buff/heal bot ;-)

I tried running a high skill power build but found i had to compromise to much. Having massive burst damage with sticky bombs etc was awesome but after the smoked cleared and the enemy boss was still standing i decided to focus a bit more on DPS. Playing a build other than pure DPS is fun and i would like to get back to that some day but for now, i like killing things with my Vector really quickly :D

Had fun in the DZ last night. Ran into some friendly people who healed and rezzed me when i pulled more than i can handle. Also managed to end a rogue who was harassing the friendly locals.

Did a total of 5 challenge mode runs in the last 2 days with randoms. Being a buffbot is not as easy as it sounds. It was actually quite challenging. Modified my stats a little, need more optimisation

I might be up for challenge runs tonight. I feel like 100k DPS and 70k HP should be sufficient to give it a go.

Anyone getting the season pass? Been thinking about getting it but not sure if its worth it at this time. Think we will only get the first expac around May.

Considering the time I've already invested in the game, I think it may be worth it. And looks like levels will increase, not to mention new areas/zones. Personally I'm hoping Central Park gets included.

Damn that sucks man as a mobile user I understand your pain.I must say that the division does not use much data.It uses 40 to 50 Mb data a hour max and that is while co op and in the dz.
