[$$$] SQL Developer Position Available!

Yes, it's another one of my notorious job opportunity threads. This time around, it's for an SQL developer. Brief spec as follows:

  • Fluent in T-SQL*
  • Working knowledge of SSIS
  • Working knowledge of SSRS
  • Passion for data analysis
  • Anything from 1-4 years' experience (I'll get you up to speed quick enough)
Location is in Randburg and the opportunity is through one of our business partners (a major player in the IT industry) at one of their biggest clients. I will need someone who's willing to commit for at least 12 months on the project, as our business partner has another 12-24 month renewal and they just lost one of their SQL developers on site.

I'll need someone to start as soon as possible, preferably this month still so a handover can be done with the current developer on site. Remuneration will be based on your skill level and (realistic) salary expectations. This will be an on-site contract, so you'll need to travel to Randburg every day.

So, please start flooding me with PM's! I need someone urgently!

* If you don't know what T-SQL, a CTE or an APPLY is, this position isn't for you.

Will let you know tomorrow but the person i have in mind wont be able start this month you might battle to actually find that

Cool, looking forward to your feedback. Lets see what we can do regarding that starting date. ;)

I'll apply in a few years, only have a few months experience in PostgreSQL, but not T-SQL
Position is available NAOW unfortunately... But who knows, might have another one next year. :)

i showed this to a friend of mine as i know she has some experience here but she just told me she is focused more on the BI side. she said she will show this to some of the SQL developers she works with at a certain medical aid

So, any feedback yet? If I can't recruit on my own, I'll be forced to go through an agent and pay them huge fees. :(
