VPN Software

It seems other network related issues apart from Wifi, juniper VPN seems to not work or some machines. In our office, one of the machines you cannot make out the display, its very grainy.

Was so looking forward to giving this gaming laptop a run with DX12. Anyway, have to pay the rent before I can play so, rolled back that machine.

If anyone can help or has work around, please let me know.

Try using the Win 8.1 wifi drivers?

My motherboard has no Win10 drivers (Asus P67 Sabertooth) available yet, but so far the Win 8.1 drivers are working fine. My wife's Asus Z77 V-Pro has Win10 drivers available, so depending on the age of your motherboard, it might be a while (or never).

Yep, did try the win 8.1 drivers, but no go.

Found a tweak to fix Logitech G930 headies issue with windows 10.
Edit the G930 manifext.xml file in the Logitech gaming software folder and turn off the "turnOffInterval" by setting the value to 0.

Anybody experiencing high RAM usage especially with Local service Host?

Define high.

4 gig in used (+2 gig cache) with 9 gig paging file by me is a bit low, as I have 16 available. Then again opening 80+ meg Corel files kinda does that to any system.

Oh and don't count cached as memory in use.

I have 16gb of RAM I left my pc on overnight and when I woke up in the morning my RAM usage was @ 96% altogether with System using around 10gb or so. It's kind of ridiculous.

I had my first blue screen yesterday with Windows 10.

Didn't do any digging to try and find the problem or what causes it, if it happens again I will have a look.

I initially got them as well. apparently is was due to an incompatible driver

I decided to try and upgrade my HP Microserver. That didn't work too well. I read before that the NIC doesnt work in Win 10, and mine didnt. Apparently you need a BIOS update.
It installs the NIC but doesnt pic up when you connect a network cable. I used a USB to NIC converter for network access (Little server only has USB 2 but thought I'd get a low riser 1 Gbps NIC should it perform ok after a week).
But the hardware is just not enough to handle Win 10. I knew the hardware was a little below par, but thought for a headless, media streaming PC, it might just work.

Luckily I kept a copy of the original install on another disc, so I just swapped out HDDs and was up and running.

Below is the specs of my HP. Awesome little 'puter.

When does the free upgrade window close again? Still happy with Win8.1 on my ~6 year old mobo/CPU so will probably upgrade just before the free upgrade ends.

29 July 2016 is the last day you can upgrade for free.

I enjoy Windows 10. Whole lot better than Windows 8.1

I am also running Windows 10 mobile on my Lumia 930. That is definitely worlds better than Windows phone 8.

Yeah, I'm running it on my main home PC since the release last year and also on my 3 year oldish laptop. Both running A-okay without issues. Really happy with it.

Oh, I said a while back that sometimes when I typed my password in after starting the PC it would say password was wrong, turned out it was just me being too fast and not looking. I would press CTRL+ALT and start typing....I didnt give the computer that one second to fully switch to the password prompt...

Where did you get Windows 10 mobile? Is it a beta or a normal update?

On the topic - I am running Windows 10 and think it is pretty cool. Running it on my laptop and main pc. I liked Windows 8.1 but like Windows 10 more.

Installed the insider app on my Lumia 930. They have options of which "ring" you want to be in, I chose the production ring, so you get the most stable version of Windows Mobile.
